QX11Grab is a system tray applet for X11 desktop environments that uses FFmpeg to recording X11 Desktops and Windows. This Application tapping window dimensions with xevent and prepare the command line for ffmpeg with configuration options.
It sends the generated parameter list to a new FFmpeg process. QX11Grab is not the recording software; it prepares all commands for FFmpeg.

Release Notes: This release removes deprecated ffmpeg macros and adds an audio option for which quantizer to use.
